A newly hired employee took an oath to the Governor.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government recognizes companies, organizations, and individuals that are making outstanding efforts to promote women's participation and empowerment in the workplace with the Tokyo Metropolitan Women's Empowerment Award. An opinion exchange meeting was held between the awardee companies and the Governor.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is supporting the reconstruction of the Wajima-nuri lacquerware industry in Ishikawa Prefecture, which was severely damaged by the Noto Peninsula Earthquake that occurred on New Year's Day this year. As part of this effort, the TMG has opened a "Wajima-nuri Lacquerware Support Corner" at a store in Tokyo. At the Nihonbashi Main Store of Nippon Department Store, you can see works elaborately created by Wajima craftsmen

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government held “SusHi Tech Tokyo 2024,” an event to promote “Sustainable High City Tech Tokyo = SusHi Tech Tokyo” that aims to create new sustainable values. On April 27, the opening event was held at Miraikan -The National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Koto Ward).
