The Tokyo Metropolitan Government held “TOKYO RUGBY MONTH 2022” aiming to promote and develop rugby in Tokyo as a legacy of hosting the Rugby World Cup 2019TM.
On December 11, a TOKYO RUGBY WOMEN'S DAY was held at Yoyogi Park ball game field. The events included a women’s rugby experience session for elementary and junior high school students, a joint training session and exchange matches for elementary school girls participating in rugby clubs in Tokyo.

In order to provide counselling for such concerns, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government has opened a consultation desk called “Tokyo Youth Health Support (Wakasapo).” Governor Koike, who attended the workshop, said, “Young people undergo various experiences. The Tokyo Metropolitan Government started “Wakasapo” as a place where reliable information can be shared and teens can freely seek counselling about their own anxieties and problems. I want young people to take care of their body and protect every step of their lives with appropriate assistance.”

Prior to the opening of the entire Loop Road No. 2 on December 18, a walking event was held on December 10 to commemorate the opening of the Loop Road No. 2 main line.
Of the Tokyo City Planning Road Loop Road No. 2, which is a skeleton trunk road being developed by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, a section of about 1.4 kilometers from Tsukiji 5-chome, Chuo-ku to Shimbashi 4-chome, Minato-ku (an underground tunnel structure serving as a major road artery) was opened to traffic. Since this underground tunnel will be closed to pedestrians and bicycles after its opening, this was the only opportunity to experience a walk through.
On December 16, a ceremony to commemorate the opening of Loop Road No. 2 (between Tsukiji and Shimbashi) was held in the presence of Governor Koike.
