Introductory Event for TOKYO Resilience Project Held on March 4, 2024
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is promoting the “Tokyo Resilience Project” as an initiative to ensure the safety and security of its residents in the event of a disaster, aiming to create a Tokyo that will be safe for 100 years into the future. On March 4 TMG held an infrastructure tour for international media outlets to communicate efforts made for this initiative.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has installed IoT sensors powered by perovskite solar cells. A perovskite solar cell is a battery that uses a material with a crystal structure of perovskite as a power generation layer, and has the characteristics of being thin, light, and flexible.
