On November 2, Governor Koike attended an exchange meeting to introduce to President Steinmeier of the Federal Republic of Germany Talents Tokyo, a program that the Tokyo Metropolitan Government is implementing in partnership with the Berlin International Film Festival to nurture future film directors and producers.
The governor said, "Talents Tokyo has produced more than 180 graduates so far. Berlin and Tokyo became friendship cities in 1994 and have been exchanging in various ways. I hope that the ties between Germany and Japan will continue to deepen.”

The children demonstrated their own energy-saving measures, and the governor presented them with a certificate of appointment for “My Home Director of the Environment Bureau.”
“HTT” is an initiative that the TMG is promoting not only from the perspective of responding to the climate crisis, but also from the perspective of securing stable energy over the medium to long term, and is formed from the keywords H: Herasu” (to save in Japanese), T: Tsukuru (to generate), and T:Tameru (to store).
