February 13, 2020 Masaki Ito, a former representative of Japan in trampoline, visited the Tokyo Metropolitan Bunkyo School for the Blind. In his first lecture, Masaki Ito talked about his experience at two Olympic Games of the past, not only during competitions but also in the Olympic Village.

Profile trampoline gymnast Masaki Ito
Born in Tokyo. He started trampoline at the age of 6 thanks to the influence of his older sister, who is 9 years older than him. He lost the Beijing 2008 Olympics representatives selection, but participated in the London 2012 Olympics and got placed 4th, the highest among the Japanese. He participated in the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympics and got placed 6th. Announced retirement in 2019.
