June 24, 2019 Wheelchair basketball Paralympian Noriyuki Mori visited the Setagaya Ward Soshigaya Elementary School.
In his lecture for the school children, he emphasized that in wheelchair basketball “Anyone can participate, including people with severe disabilities, people with light disabilities and people without disabilities” and that “It is important to take on a challenge.”

Profile wheelchair basketball player Noriyuki Mori
Born in Aichi Prefecture. He started wheelchair basketball in the wake of his accident as a 16-years old. He has consecutively participated in the Athens and Beijing Paralympic Games, and is at the age of 48 still playing as a pillar of the team. He also aims to participate in Paralympics wheelchair badminton.
