Profile volleyball player Yuka Sakurai
Born in Gifu Prefecture. Yuka Sakurai started playing volleyball when she was in the 5th grade of elementary school. In 2005, she participated in the final qualifications for the Beijing Olympics and contributed to a successful result. Elected as a representative member for the Beijing Olympics. In 2010, she and her team won the All Japan Volleyball Championships. In 2012, she retired from her active duty.
