Training was held at Tokyo Sports Square for volunteers who were chosen from members of TEAM NO-SIDE to serve as leaders during the events. General lifesaving training was also held by TMG.

Display of the winning trophy “Webb Ellis Cup” at the TMG office: July 2019
The winning trophy “Webb Ellis Cup” made the rounds to a number of cities including all the twelve host cities around Japan and was on display at the TMG office in Shinjuku on July 31. A counter ball (ball-shaped counter) was installed with the goal of registering one million visitors. People who came to see the trophy pressed the button to register their presence.
